Ten or twelve years ago I had a garden. And like all gardens, I had more than I could eat. Being a Texan of frugal German descent, I hate to waste anything, so I started canning the peppers and tomatoes in the form of salsa. After producing several versions, I hit on a flavor combination that worked well. After one or two refinements, I came up with Clayton's Texican salsa. 

My boss at work, who loved to eat salsa, was my guinea pig. He tasted just about every one of my creations. When I hit on the final version, he called me on father's day and told me that it was the best salsa he had ever tasted. He also told me that I should start marketing my creation.
